The 2001D is the same as the 2010.

The 7600GR is very fine for travelling.

The 2001D is the better bedside radio and can handle bigger antennas
better. The 2001D has a bit better over all performance and better sync
detector.
Some easy mods will give a big step up on the 2001D.
