Amen!
If you are going to climb, buy new from a reputable company, make sure
that it fits, and do not loan it to anyone. Even the old Scot does not
think of economizing when it comes to climbing harnesses. 73 Mac

For what it's worth, I did CPR on a fellow whose climbing belt failed
while
he was installing a TV antenna on a topped tree. It wasn't pleasant, the
crunching of the bone fragments as I did the chest compressions.
Use good gear.
Be certain that it's rigged right.
Don't trust it.
