It's kinda important to note that not everyone can afford a RX350,
hi. However, I understand that other receivers either can be modified
or are DRM ready; for example, the TenTec RX320d has the necessary 12khz
output already tapped, and I understand the recently discontinued
AOR7030 can also be modified. In addition, there are several portables
that can be modified, and a few from companies that, to be honest, I've
never heard of that say they are DRM ready. Some of these portables are
discussed somewhat on http://www.radiointel.com
It might be helpful if there was a list somewhere of DRM compatible
(or modifiable) receivers, but I don't know of any. Anyone?

Folks,
I'm getting excellent reception of the DRM signal from
Deutsche Welle's DRM transmitter in Sines, Portugal in Detroit, MI on
15440 kHz at 1215 UTC using a TenTec RX-350/Butternut 80/40 Ham
Vertical.
If your receiver is DRM-capable and you live in the eastern
U.S., this is a good "European" catch. There are a few dropouts, but
the musical program is generally received quite well and the fidelity
is excellent.

I reply:
I am using a TenTec RX-350 and the DRM Software Radio v2.0.34. My
antenna is a ham radio vertical, the Butternut 80/40.
