Pictures of the g303e have been on the Swedish Winradio site for a couple
weeks, but g303e information didn't appear on the main Winradio site until a
week ago.

What I find interesting is the Serial Interface option. The USB
specification makes the most sense for interfacing with modern computers,
but evidently Winradio is also targeting those with older laptops or PCs.
I'm surprised that a regular serial port could handle all the DSP data that
goes back and forth for demodulation, filtering, etc. Perhaps the Serial
Interface is for control of something else, not basic I/O and operation.
The system requirement *does* say that "one free USB port" is needed, not "a
USB port or a serial port".

I like the looks of the g303e's external case, obviously designed for
stacking multiple units.
