Spoken like a true AOL customer.
Here's some info for you, genius.
Heil AOL!
Gee, what a nice person. Spends a silly amount of time replying to and
reposting (intentional or otherwise) the very crap she complains about, and
gets ****y when called on it. And then feels the need to strike back with such
soul-shattering insults as 'true AOL customer', 'Heil AOL', etc. Because we all
know how insulting AOL makes us AOLers so angry.
Calm down for a moment ... my point is this: If you know so much about
filtering and multiple IDs and so on, then you've spent a good amount of time
online in newsgroups. Which means you also should know better than to reply,
repost, and rehash these idiots. It's what they want.
My original suggestion still stands... filter it, and if it keeps coming (as
it often does) ignore it.
You needn't point out to me (since I'm a 'genius', right?) how this
'turd-burglar', as you so maturely put it, has been inundating the group with
lots of crap under a dozen names. He's not the first, won't be the last, and
you won't be the first or last person who makes things worse by doing what
you're doing.
But wait, should I cave into my desires to insult Verizon.net users, since it
makes me feel better to use innocuous insults in hopes of stinging my
"opponent", and thereby make sure my point is taken, since it wouldn't have
been taken well if I just said it calmly and without teenage taunts?.... nah.
Amazing.
