I think the photo of the g303e is showing three ports close together: USB,
Serial, and IF-OUT. Look closely at the published photo and you'll see what
I mean.

The cable is odd, though. USBDB9 ?? That's curious.

I'm pretty sure that a sound card is required for the DSP in any case, as
it's the g313 model that incorporates its own DSP capability. The system
requirements for the g303e include "Sound Blaster 16 (or compatible sound
card)".

however, that in the pictures on Winradio's site the radio appears to have
a
DB-9 connector and no USB connector and a cable with a DB-9 on one end and
a USB
plug on the other.
