The language is German. We have a rare one!
I'm picking up some really weird music in German here in Seattle
at
0152
UTC. It's coming in pretty strong; how can you be sure it's a
pirate?
And now it's a man and a woman conversing in German. I'm hoping
it's
a
pirate. It'd be my first.
And now at 0159 it's Sinatra in English. (The Lady is a Tramp)
And cut right off the air at 0200. Just what was it? Is that typical
behavior for a pirate?
What you were hearing on 9640 was most likely Deutsche Welle. The
program
ends
at 0200.

Yea it was DW. I was so tired last night. I was on 69--Mc and in USB
then
I
typed 96--Mhz. Thought I had a German pirate LMAO!! What a dork I am
Ah well. I'll log a pirate one of these days. It makes sense that it was
DW,
though. It was coming in -really- strong, and they typically do for me in
Seattle. I must admit though, the way they went off the air kind of
surprised me. It was like someone pulled their plug at the top of the
hour.
I kind of figured they'd have timed their programming a little bit better
than that; it didn't sound very professional.
Yea oh well. Hey try reorienting your ant. It may help. Its harder to catch
em out there. Their easy here because several are in the surrounding states
fairly close by.
