Default Georgia Radio listening

Listening to the radio (NPR), NPR is declaring that Georgia
has *resoundingly* gone Republican in all Federal races.

Also, NPR exit-polling reports the proposed Georgia
Constitutional amendment defining marriage (anti-gay marriage
amendment) overwhelmingly passed with strong support across
*all* demographics. Of course, they can't mean *absolutely*
all demographics - I would presume that does not include gay
voters.

Heads-up - NPR seems to be setting the stage if Bush wins
Florida, that Floridians were "bought-off" with all the
Federal Hurricane Disaster Relief money. Not that I think
anyone would fall for that, but what I find interesting is
that they *seem* to be on the verge of predicting that Bush
will win Florida...

I think that any President worth his salt would do all tht is possible
to provide disaster relief - to Florida or any other state hit that
hard by natural disaster. This has been true of both major parties
and let's face it, a response to major disaster should transend
political parties. If Bush hadn't provided relief I'll bet NPR would
hang him for that. Also, I think the converse is more true: NOT
providing relief would cost more votes than provding relief gave
votes. Just my opinion, which along with $2.00 will buy a cup of
coffee at Starbucks.
