We had them in Central Oregon this evening as well. Just caught the tail end
at about 0500 Z. Had some auroral propagation on 144 mhz cw as well, and of
course the FM broadcast stations were coming in from all over the place. It
is supposed to stay like this for a couple of days. Check out:

We usually don't see them here with all the ungodly light pollution... I'm
just north of downtown St. Paul, MN and the aurora borealis are very
bright
to the north, east, west and overhead. Sheets of green and even red.
Haunting and beautiful! The lower SW bands are "hissy" and otherwise
pretty
quiet where I am at...
