Hi,
Could you, please point me to any store in Raleigh-Durham, NC
area that sells shortwave radios
and Sony ICF-7600G/GR in particular.
Thanks.

IZee,

Sorry - Don't know of any local Shortwave Radio sellers in your area.

But you might try these OnLine Sellers:
* Amazon.Com [J&R Music] = http://tinyurl.com/6znmy
* Universal Radio . Com
http://www.universal-radio.com/catal...able/0360.html
* Electronics Outlet Store . Com [Amazon.Com]

What's 'third party price' mean? I can't figure out how to get the $117
price.

* The Shortwave Store . Com
http://usa.shortwavestore.com/sony-s...receivers.html

Dewayne,

The 'third party price' may be "The Price" that is given to someone
like J&R Electronics (The Seller = The Third Party) who is selling
on AMAZON.Com from Electronics Outlet Store (The First Party) as a
Drop Shipper to the Buyer (The Second Party).

So J&R Electronics Charges $130 on Amazon and the Electronics
Outlet Store provides and Ships the Product for $117 which
generates a $12 Proof for J&R for simply running a "Virtual
Store Front".

Amazon.Com charges charges BOTH the Drop-Shipper and the OnLine
Merchant a 'fee' for using their WebSite to handle the Sale.
