The LA350 has BNC connectors on the jumper cable, I don't know what kind
of antenna
input is on the 2010 ? miniplug ? you would need an adapter. Do you own an
LA350 ?
If yes, how does it perform ? I've been thinking about getting one. I live
in a very noisy location.

Anybody tried to use the LA350 loop antenna with a Sony 2010?
How would you couple/connect the antenna to the radio??
I've used an LA350 very successfully with an SW77, so I suspect it
would work just fine with the 2010. You'll need to go to Radio Shack,
though, to find an appropriate plug. If they don't have it in stock,
you can order it from them.
Thanks for the replies about this topic. I did find an adaptor, but
found the MW performance with the LA350 to be poor (it does work fine
with the R8B). Any ideas why? I just used an adaptor from the coax to
a 1/8" plug to the radio.

The stock LA350 comes with two loops or tuning elements: one for
3-9mhz and one for 9-30mhz. It does not come with a MW element, but
you can buy one separately, if you like. Universal has them
(

).
If you DID buy the MW element already and the antenna's performance is
still poor, I'm surprised. I never use the LA350 for MW, but have
always been happy with its performance on SW.
I notice you said the antenna works better on MW with the Drake. The
LA350 produces a good bit of gain. I'm not sure where you are or what
your listening conditions are, but it's possible that you need to use
the attenuator on your 2010. When I used the LA350 with an SW77, I
almost always had to have the attenuator in play.
I hope this helps.
