I am looking to purchase a good radio to use at work and home. At my office
there are a lot of pcs. At home I want to listen to SW and AM. Has anyone
had problems with this radio? There is a mail-order in Ontario Canada
selling them for $99 CDN plus shipping.. Just wondering if this is worth
going after.
It's the same thing as the Degen DE1102. I have one and it's a nice
radio. It has an included external wire antenna that plugs in to a side
jack, which greatly improves its performance. You can buy it direct from
Hong Kong via Ebay for $50 (US) plus shipping, which was $25 (US) to
California. It's the same radio, and comes with a manual in English. The
Ebay username is Liypn and I think his store is called V COM
Communications.
