There's debate over that too. An off shore blast using an old
battleship would have served as an example. The American military
wanted to see just exactly what the bomb would do to real humans, so
the decision to use hundreds of thousands lives as guinea pigs was
made. War makes scum out many sorts.

The birth defects after the war were atrocious. They set up special
hospital wards for some of them, just to keep the victims out of sight.

We didn't start it. But we sure as hell ended it. And that's what we're
hated for? We're not perfect by no means and yes we've made mistakes but
we're not a bad nation and I resent your constant spitting. Your tone sounds
