Judging by the complete irresponsibility of this corporation, I wouldn't

25 thousand TONS of poison abandoned by DOW CHEMICAL

Is this a normal American business practice?

Murderous *******s. First they bring you Napalm, now this. What sort
of monsters buy shares in a company like this?

===========================
A statement on the company website says: “Unfortunately, we have
responsibilities to our shareholders and our industry colleagues that
make action on Bhopal impossible.”

Despite admitting that the company abandoned the plant without
ensuring its safety, it argues: “Dow does not and cannot acknowledge
responsibility. If we did, not only would we be required to expend
many billions of dollars on cleanup and compensation – much worse, the
public could then point to Dow as a precedent in other big cases.
‘They took responsibility; why can’t you?’
