Hi Brian
since ebay put the function were by a person could watch an
item. i find the amount of people who actually place a bid has dropped
quite a lot on the Kenwood i had 27 people watching the auction..
and no bids were place. since i added that i was going to end the auction
if no bids were placed. a couple of bids were placed on the Kenwood to the
value of £196.00. and last night. somebody used the buy it now on the
Kenwood and it sold for my asking price of £280.00
so this buyer has got him self a good deal as radioworld are selling a
Kenwood R5000 for £600 with the converter......
now all i need to do is sell the ICOM IC-R7000 but this will sell no
problems as i sold one IC-R7000 a couple of weeks ago for £280.
and this one is in much better condition...
Thanks: Brian

i have listed my Kenwood R5000 on ebay follow this link...
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...e=STRK:MESE:IT
the reserve price is set for £250 on the Kenwood as i think this is quite
a
fair price considering Radio World are selling the very same receiver for
£600 with the VC20 VHF converter fitted the R5000 has the filter as well
fitted so my reserve price is cheap at the price...
have a bid if your interested....
John.
Hi John. I like how you told them to bid or you would end the auction
early.
Good one.
