Default General Queries about powerhouse QSLs - VOA, BBC, etc.

Hello, all - maybe some of you have some experience with this.

I know that VOA broadcasts are not intended for US audiences, and as a
result VOA is not likely to lavish much attention on us Yanks.
Likewise, broadcasts from VOA, BBC or anyone else via distant relay
transmissions are not intended directly for our American ears either.
Having said that...

In your experience, will a VOA or a BBC or a Radio Nederland verify a
reception report on one of its foreign relays, like VOA
Botswana/Thailand/Sri Lanka,, RN Madagascar or BBC Thailand/Seychelles?
Will a reception report be more likely responded to by the
transmitter's engineer than by the home base at Bush House, Hilversum
or Washington DC? Is a copy to both locations worthwhile?
Your ideas are greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Bruce Jensen
