what kind of handheld can i get to hear ships at sea ,airlines etc.maybe a
powerful scanner but id like to hear lots more ,icom-yaesu?


I dunno, that depends upon where you are I guess. You're more apt to hear
ships at sea if you're near an ocean than say, in Moscow.

What kind of budget do you have and what have you looked at that seems
interesting?
