OK. I guess I don't really disagree
with what you're saying. While NPR may
be more or less a liberal outlet, or at
least have a liberal sensibility, its news
reporting is more complete than mostly
anything else in broadcast, and they do make
an effort to represent both sides of issues
which are controversial. Back when my company
was piping Fox news into our cafeteria, most
of their "news" coverage during the election
run-up seemed to be of the "John Kerry, threat or menace?"
variety.

By the way, even though RHF likes your logic
and reasoning (kiss of death right there),
your rooster analogy was
totally inapt. The rooster argument is a classic
"post hoc ergo procter hoc" while mine might
be judged a "non sequitur."
