The resistor in my Cantenna has gone high 90 ohms. Anyone have a spare

Are you sure it's actually the resistor and not some internal
connection? I'd take it apart and check.

I've contacted Stackpole and gotten replacements from them. I don't
know if they are still in that business, however. I had a nice long
talk with an engineer there and together we figured out that Heath was
buying the wrong part from them. They needed the version made for oil
submersion, but the one that came with the kits I had were all of the
style Stackpole made for dry use.

This would lead to increased changes in the resistor value, but +80%
seems like too much. I saw changes on the order of 5-10%, sometimes
up, sometimes down. The ones that shifted down got fixed on the belt
sander.
