Martyn is now named Luke and it's not radiomart it's radiobitz11. He's a
wonderful Ebayer. Here's his new about me page. I wonder if Ebay knows about
this?

Hi there and welcome to my e-Bay "ME" page, My name is Luke and I am very
new to e-Bay, I am ex military and have just served my time and now looking
to make a little extra income. I live in Shepherdsville, Kentucky and work
for a large vehicle manufacturer in Georgetown, Kentucky as a technical
consultant which takes up some of my time. However; I have been looking at
e-Bay for some time and have decided to take the plunge and start a small
business on here. My interests include, early electronics, Shooting,
Motorbikes and finally I am working on my private pilot's license which is
absorbing my funds at an alarming rate. I have been fascinated by
electronics from a very early age thanks to my father who was a
communications specialist during the 2nd world war and have a very large
collection of equipment, some his and some mine which we have owned for many
years and I see e-Bay as an excellent opportunity to move some of it on as
our combined collection has taken over a large outbuilding. The American
government trained me well and I am a fully qualified RF technician, I have
a full electronics workshop and I enjoy getting stuck in to any radio with a
fault and tracking the fault down and going on to complete alignment etc to
bring the item up to fully operational condition. The equipment I am
offering on e-Bay all belongs to either me or my father purchased either
privately or in collection "lots", he has been quite the hoarder over the
years and his passion for old radio equipment has spanned for more then 60
years, I have some early crystal sets he built as a teenager which take
pride of place in my hobby room as well as some beautiful Collins equipment.
However; enough is enough, there is way too much space taken up with our
collection and so some of the items have to go, moms putting her foot
down!!! As I get time I will test most of the items listed, check the
listings carefully as some of them will be sold untested and noted in my
description. I considered accepting various forms of Payment but have
decided to only accept postal money orders as some of the items I list will
be expensive and I have no desire to just give away 3% in commission fees. I
will be more than happy to ship world wide as where I work has a great
collection of sturdy boxes which I have arranged to purchase and will ensure
I do my best to package the equipment so as it arrives in the condition as
described, I will charge a small fee for packing materials but not enough to
worry about considering the time and effort that will be taken to pack the
equipment in a professional like manner. As most of the items I will be
listing will be of the older, more desirable tubed type equipment, they will
be sold as is with no warranty offered or implied (as per e-Bay Policy) but
described to the best of my ability and mostly tested and I want your
experience buying from me to be a pleasant, trouble free one. Thank you for
reading this and enjoy my listings. Luke.
