One mystery to watch out for is what your keyer expects from the plug. Both
the CMOS-4 and the keyer in my rig expect the dits at the tip and dahs on
the ring. But the MFJ (wouldn't you know it) 407B wants the dits on the ring
and the dahs on the tip. You can't re-wire the jack in the keyer because it
is surface mounted to the board. I fixed it by swapping inside a 1/8inch
stereo in-line connector out to the 1/4 inch stereo phono plug that the MFJ
keyer expects.

Dits on the left, dahs on the right... if you're right handed.
Yup.
Sometimes I operate from a left handed friend's station and he has his the
other way. Really throws me off !
JUST TURN THE PADDLES UPSIDE DOWN (;-)
