Not saying that it would even work, the whole idea of stacks 5 capacitors as
suggested on the page just looks pretty shoddy.

PLEASE NOTE: The following is known to work with the PLL02A that is in the
2-Crystal AM Only radios, and is not guaranteed to work in any of the other
versions. I'd have to know what the Manufacturer and Model of the radio is
before I could say for sure if it would work or not, or whether I'd be able
to come up with a method to modify the radio to have...

The easiest way to accomplish what you want is to make a -10Khz switch and
switch DOWN from channel 20 to Channel 19A...

This would be accomplished by cutting the trace to pin #15 of the PLL, and
adding a SPDT switch across the trace. When the switch is in the normal
position, the trace would effectively be bridged, or in normal operation.
When switched the other way, it would pull pin #15 HIGH, effectively jumping
10Khz DOWN. Now HIGH indicates adding a voltage of 4.5 to 5.5 Volts. Just
tap the voltage off of Pin #1 on the PLL.
