My condolences on owning a DX-394.

It's incomprehensible that you take this one rating as the absolute
when:
a) it is not supported by any explanation as to why the reviewer gave
it 1 "H" out of 5.
b) it's supposed to be a "value" rating, i.e., what do you get for the
money or some kind of ratio between features and performance vs cost.
Universal's only reported sale of a used DX-394 was for about $140.
c) Radio Netherlands also gives value ratings with a full review and
explanation - it gave the DX-394 4 out of 5 when the retail price was
$250.
d) ARRL Lab also gave it a good value for money review in QST when it
was selling for $400.
Makes me suspect the dxing.com reviewer meant 4 out of 5 on their
"value" scale since he or she does not say anything bad about it and
the used price is so low.
