I have recently accquired a Midland 70-0375C 100 watt 42-50 mhz trunk
mount transciever with control head, mounting bracket, power cord,
speaker and mic...
but no interface cable...
How available are the interface cables?? Can anything else be used in
place of them??
Can these be reprogrammed to work on the ham bands??

I "Think" I recall that model can be programmed and Tuned to the 6M Ham
band, but the tuning process can be a bit tricky unless you have the
service manual. The Interface cable should be accessable from any
commercial dealer that sells Midland LMR radios. It should also be
fairly cheap as the cheap version of the Interface cable is nothing more
than computer type flat ribbon cable (26 conductor) with cheap plastic
crimp/mash type connectors on each end.
