It was around $200.00 with the shipping to & from....
Not bad considering the worth of the radio, and a three hour pull down and
repair....alignment, 24 hour smoke test and another realignment.
Getting parts is the problem, he probably buys units that are gone and some
that play but are cosmetically poor and takes off the good mechanical
parts...but the parts supply barrel has to be playing out!!

I am the proud owner of a Zenith Transoceanic R7000 portable radio. This
Zenith is the last run of radios when they shut down production of this
famous series ....well the band switch lost its click-click,
Now where in the world are you going to get this fixed?
Well come in Mr Allan Jesperson of "Great Northern Vintage Radio's"

I sent him the radio, he repaired it and aligned and tuned up the
receiver...and I'll tell you what...against my Sony SW77..AOR 7030 ..it
doesn't miss a beat...and the audio quality is wonderful!!

So if your in need of help contact Allan at
