I think that many amateur operator think that; that someone running a

K1MAN

You just raised yourself to a higher than acceptable standard You
might be the first ham to broadcast news without taking over a
frequency to do so.

In all sincerity, I commend you for your courtesy. Having been
bombarded by both ARRL and K1MAN while in a QSO, I have a bit of a
chip on my shoulder when it comes to broadcasts on the ham
frequencies. I hope you continue your practice of finding a clear
frequency for your broadcasts. If I hear you some time, I will listen
to it.

BTW, something just caught my memory, Correct me if I am wrong, but I
believe you said you were going to 'start' the broadcast just before
you leave for school?

Don't the rules require a control operator to be present for the
broadcast? You might double check that.
