thanks again for your help bob , not to sound ungreatful
but you'd think this was the easy part of gettng my antenna mounted
the new link you mentioned has 2 problems
their brackets are still steal, they will rust, i guess i should have
said i need the brackets to be either aluminum or stainless
any chance you know of a place that has those my usual places don't
carry them
the other bad thing about that site wich btw i tried, is that it has
a ton of dead links on it, and i contacted them to inform them ,and
didn't seem like they cared so didn't strike me as reputable
but i am greatful ---anyone out there know of a place that sells them?
thanks
One last suggextion -- a Google search for "Rohn wall brackets" brings
up a number of sellers -- the brackets are made of galvanized steel,
but it's the same stuff Rohn towers are made of, and I'm not aware of
any rust problems on their towers.

hi
I will be putting up a small antenna soon, using a small mast mounted to
a brick wall.
Looking all over for a place that sells simple brackets, all i could
find was the cheep steal plated small guage ones.
Radio Shack still sells them. See...

I've used the 12" brackets for a fairly heavy vertical antenna mast.

now i can't find any of the 'good' ones
any body know of a place where i can find them specifically , google
didn't help
many years ago radio shack had some nice heavy duty ones made out f
aluminum , i've also seen them in stainless
thanks
thanks bob, for the reply, but first thing i did was to goto radioshack,
and the stuff there, that you pointed out is all cheep thin guage, and
material that will rust solid after the coating wears off
Thanks, with Radio Shack, I was trying to find you someone local. If
you can order by mail, try this site for heavier galvanized steel
brackets:
