My old TS-820S takes forever to drop back to receive after transmitting. I'm
sure it is the relay but I need a little info.

First is the relay on the on the "RELAY UNIT, X543-1190-00" the relay in
question? Sound like a stupid question but I've been into a 830 before and
it has two relays in it.

Secondly, is the relay in a socket?

I have found that Mouser carries a replacement relay (part
#526R1617D512)which I will order if the original relay is soldered in, if
not I will try to clean the relay in the radio. I will probably order one
anyway to have as a spare or in case I mess up the original in the cleaning
process.

I appreciate any info you may offer.
