In India WorldSpace Satellite Radio has introduced a new age satellite
receiver, 'Diva'.
With user-friendly features and horizontal design, Diva combines aesthetics
with increased functionality and is compatible with CD players or any
rack-type music system, a company statement said here.
The remote control, which comes with the receiver, has a provision to preset
up to 10 channels.
Diva's price will be Rs 4990 (including an annual subscription fee of Rs
1200 for WorldSpace Satellite Radio).
A pioneer in satellite radio, WorldSpace boasts of over 35 radio stations
for various genres of music -- jazz, classical, old hindi film music, rock.
It also offeres two Indian classic channels and five regional Indian
channels on its network.
