Cars get people and products to places. Guns make nice holes in targets and
people. I can see how you can confuse the two snce they are so similar.

You are presuming that, not only would law-abiding citizens comply (many,
unfortunately would) -- but further, You are presuming that the black-
market and criminals would comply as well. In every case I'm aware of, the
disarming of a formerly armed populace has seen both a surge in crime
rates
as well as a flourishing black-market in firearms.

I'm not aksing to disarm a populace. I'm saying that the populace has no
need for high power, assualt weapons.
