I have been thinking about springing for some
good antenna surge protectors.
I have had very good success with Polyphaser
protectors. I installed a GPS system , with an
external antenna. The site took a direct hit about
2 months after installation. And while the antenna
and coax were toast, the GPS receiver and associated
PC where unfazed.
