A few points to make about Iran/Persia.

Persians (historically correct, "Iranian" is a 20th century phenomenon) are
notorious deceivers. The are very good at originating propaganda and
conspiracies.

With that said is it any wonder that the monies spent to spread Islamic
propaganda has far exceeded all that which was spend by all nations during
the cold war!? That is a fact.

Furthermore, with the advent of the internet and reading the titles of these
TV clips, it should be no surprise about where these anti-Bush and left-wing
socialist conspiracies theories originate from.

Propaganda in this day and age can be far more effective than just a decade
or two ago. This the Persians are well aware of but left-wing socuialist
have a hard time realizing.
