Oh apparently about the person who made the initial silly "Maryanne Kehoe
died" post, suing for "financial damages", etc....like any attorney would
waste time pursuing some dumb anonymous post using an e-mail anonymizer
based in Italy or Australia or wherever...yeah Johnny Cochran is going to
get RIGHT on that, LOL...

In any case contacting the police would be the first option if a person
truly felt "threatened" but in this case they'd laugh and then hang up the
phone...cops (and attorneys) have better things to do than deal with phony
"internet" complaints and the lonely pathetic cranks who make them. However
that does not prevent some from making royal pest of themselves over
nonsensical non - issues...

[AFAIK there has been only one case of successful prosecution against a
Usenet poster (AOL) and this was after years of the defendant harrassing and
abusing another poster with real and verifiable threats...]

The "I am going to contact my attorney..." shtick ranks right up there with
"Do you know who I am?" in the "Useless Threats" category...

Some folx just have too much time on their hands...or lead very active
fantasy lives I guess :-)
