We treat dogs better. Hell! we put murderers to death more humanely.

That is because the law prescribes techniques to end the
lives of dogs and murderers. But terminal patients?
The only way you can do that legally is to pull out the
tubes and let them die naturally no matter how long it
takes.
The problem here is not the people, it is the law and
the government that enforces it.
