Actually, I did investigate that application. However, a quick glance at
its' documentation led me to believe it dealt with one-quarter electrical
length antennas only.

Did I misunderstand?

Such antennas are suitable for mobile operation on the 160 and 80
meter bands. At higher frequencies an ordinary short loading coil
suffices.

Input/output data - height of helix, diameter of helix, number of
turns, length and diameter of loading rod or whip. Radiating
efficiency, etc.
