Anyone know anything about KATL?

I don't think this station exists anymore does it?

I've got someone's card: King H. Robinson - General Manager. Seems that

in
the 1940's (year of this card I think) the station was located in State
National Bulding. TIA.

I don't understand this site:

http://www.katlradio.com/

Does not look like a proper radio website! to me :c)

I thought KATL was a Texas station originally.

I've been trying to figure this out for quite a while too. The
KATL that's in Miles City MT was originally known as KRJF. In the early to
middle '60's...for some reason that I don't know....all of a sudden they
became KATL...same owners...same broadcast facility...same frequency. The
owners of KRJF/KATL at that time had the last name of either Scanlan or
Scanlon...I'm not sure of the spelling. They owned the local newspaper here
too. I remember all this happening...I was a kid then...but I don't ever
remember hearing the reason for the sudden change. Of course just being a
kid, I really didn't care why back then either. Years later when I became
curious about it, there was nobody here could remember the reason for
change. KATL here even stayed on the original KRJF freq of 1340 until about
10 years ago when they changed to what they're on today...770. I do remember
the reason for the freq change...it had something to do with the upgrade of
transmitting power from 5,000 to 10,000 watts. If anyone knows anything
about this...I'd like to know too. The only thing that I could figure out on
this so far is that the call sign of KRJF is still not being used anymore by
anyone else.
