The 'average' antenna farm is squeezed into an average
city lot, with variable compromises. The 'optimum' antenna
farm fits in an area something the size of Kansas (with over-
lap in the surrounding states). Again, with variable
compromises.
The 'typical' answer is whatever area you happen to have,
with variable compromises...

i would bet my 'average' is closer. once you count up all the licensees who
have nothing up, add in all the ones who just have a rubber duck on their
ht, and then add in the ones who have at most a mobile station, i'll bet you
end up closer to the roof of a car as average than a city lot.
