Large Italian DX Club Closes down
The large
Italian DX
Club "BCL
Sicilia"
Club has
closed down.
It had been
managed for
some ten
years by its
founder by
Roberto
Scaglione,
Palermo, and had an extensive Web
presence, with several hundred members,
as
well as a YahooGroups message network.
A feature of its Website was the huge
collection of international schedules,
drawn from various sources, for each
transmission season. The Website has
been taken down.
This, coupled with the recent
announcement about the dissolution of
the
Association of North American Radio
Clubs, is another clear signal about
trends for across the radio hobby
monitoring movement.
Regards from Melbourne!
