Ran the test today and everything worked as planned, I have heard that
the toad was a bit concerned that the front ends of the radios might
blow? No need to be concerned toad, they won't blow unless you blow
them, but it doesn't take a rocket scientist to see that if both rigs
are in transmit then the receiver sections are out of the picture, it
wouldn't matter anyway as they are only being used as transmitters!
Another concern was about malicious interference? Two problems here,
the FCC isn't going to get involved with giving him a monitoring station
for his own use, nor do they care what happens to his "shows" after
the names he has called them. The other thing is that 3 khz above or
below has been the accepted spacing in Amateur Radio.
Anyway, get those reports in to the toad as soon as possible and I'll
start to record the ARRL bulletins tomorrow!
