It is interesting, and telling, that you jumped to that
conclusion. Just to be sure, I've looked back over the thread and
can't see any mention of tracy hinting that he felt "owed". All
I've read is that "...patriots like me pay for people that have
no loyalty to their country....". While it is true that patriots
have sacrificed in order that others who *haven't* sacrificed may
bitch, moan, gripe, complain and generally be a horse's ass on
demand, it is amazing how that one simple fact can itself
generate bitching, moaning, griping, complaining and horses
asses. I didn't see Tracy asking for anything. I did detect a
veiled, weird mixture of (perhaps) shame, envy and self-
consciousness from both "John Verdana" and yourself...

Thanks jd! I was wondering if they were actually reading what I was
saying. I'm not against what they want to do. I'm trying to explain to
them that you are either with the US or against them.

Sounds like George Bush speaking. Can't somebody be for some things and
against some things? You have to be 100% for America? So if America lays a
huge turd, one will tell us it doesn't stink because it's an American turd?
America can never do wrong if you are patriotic?

There are plenty
of things that you can do to show support for your country.

Yeah, you can put one of those made in China yellow ribbons on your made in
Japan car.

I just get
tired of people bad mouthing the US. Those guys are entitled to their
own stance on things and I'm not complaining. I guess now if you
support the US you are an idiot. Well then label me an idiot and I'm
damn pround to be one!

And if one disagrees one is branded unpatriotic and worthy of contempt as
has been seen lately.
