Shortwave signals are good, sometimes very good. And you're right, dimmers
are dangerous. However, all sorts of RFI can ruin your health, not only the
RFI from dimmers. Although the guest didn't come right out and say it, it's
obvious that anything which interferes with shortwave radio reception is
potentially deadly.
