I checked a few forecast locations on their main website, and they are all
day-old material also.

This is very strange. Here is a site that pulls information from NOAA
site that is 10 hours behind and yet it has up to date information that
says that we are in Geomagnetic storm conditions. At least that explains
why conditions are poor.
