color code :)

This is the mnemonic that we taught in the Navy.

I wonder if that resistance wire in the toaster would work as a dummy

load -
go ahead and try it - you can toast bread on the new dummy load.


I've checked this out, and one element IS 50 Ohms! (Or so it was for
the one I bought for $5 at the thrift store to investigate just this
application.) It worked better for AC/DC than RF.
