Buzzard Cornholing Corey:

No hard on at ham radio. Just unprogressive, self-centered,
self-serving, un-educated hams who have managed to stagnate and chase
off any new and interesting minds and expect us to listen to the old
farts ranting and passing gas...

.... really, people should realize when their age has made them
irrelevant and leave gracefully!!!

I have asked the young men why they have no interest in getting a ham
license, it is because of the limitations placed on the no code
license--and the fact they are not interested in learning code to

and reliably over the net with instant messaging, IRC chat, etc...
that is REAL. THAT is dropping the numbers of hams and putting bands
in danger of being lost... that is holding our numbers at such low
levels the FCC begins to find us more a bother than anything else...

This does NOT make sense when our numbers are near their all time
high.

Dee, this John Smith, whoever he is, for some reason has a hard on
against ham radio. I begin to doubt he is even licensed. Probably just
some cber who is ticked because he can't master the code and pass the
test so all he can do is beat his gums about how usless ham radio is.
