Hmmm. Since the dipole is going to be about 1.4 inches long, how do
you propose to do this?
Etch it on pc board. Come to think of it - at that wavelenth - simply etch
the entire antenna on a board.
IMHO, designing and building a Yagi at 2.4 GHz is a bad idea from the
beginning but I assume the OP has an assigned project and he's stuck
with it. If not, he should be building a horn.
Designing one on microstrip is an even bigger can of worms. (An
American idiom similar to Pandora's Box)
