Thanks for your reply. I was able to get info on the RF Module by
starting at the site you suggested and digging deeper into the net from
there. A very similar module is the Motorola MHW-720-1. From that data
sheet I find that the missing part(s) on my amplifier board are used to
key the first stage of the amplifier during transmit. I'll now be able
to test it out without ruining it.

I'd be pleased to reimburse you for the cost of copying and mailing the
documentation of the Heath IB-1101. If you're willing to do it please
email me: lennyw at comcast dot net. Maybe the 1101 and 1102 are
similar enough that the schematic will help.

If any other members of the newsgroup have info on the Heath IB-1102
frequency counter or the Heath HA-201A 2 meter fm amplifier, I'd
appreciate hearing from you.
