radial system or to set it up as a roof mount with the Butternut
stub-tuned
radial kit. If the radial kit gives good performance it might be worth it
to try to deal with the roof mount as I do get the antenna up over the
trees
with this configuration.

Anyone had any luck with this set up?

I once talked to a German station on 20 m with a gangbusters signal. Guy had
a vertical on the roof of an apartment building. What does Butternut say
about adding real radials?
