"According to myth gypsies crafted five nails for Christ's
execution not four. The fifth nail was meant to pierce his
heart, but the gypsies hid the fifth nail from the roman soldiers.
In some stories the gypsies were punished by God for
prolonging Christ's suffering, and in others they were
rewarded for attempting to protect him. The fifth nail is
said to have been a real religious artifact with miraculous
powers. Its existence today is somewhat
questionable, unless you consider the metaphor."

- old story related to me while doing postgraduate
work at UC Davis

Which you appear to have copied -word for word- from
http://fifthnail.blogspot.com

I actually pulled it off a newsblog from CA which deals
in clinical psychology, however I did recall attending a
lecture at UC Davis in which the above was discussed.

The latter is certainly possible. Duncan certainly didn't come up with the
story on his own, and I've been familiar with it (in a different version)
since I was a child.

If you feel (or speculate) that my posting of the same
was somehow meant to coddle or condone the actions
of Mr Duncan and people like him,

According to google you've made a total of 5 posts as Saraclese Manboobs,
all of them after the capture of Joe Duncan and your version is word for
word what Duncan wrote. (With the obvious archiving assumptions, of course.)
I'm just pointing it out; others can make up their own minds, and you can
continue to use it at your own discretion.

But I sure wouldn't.

And of course, someone so obviously bright as yourself must see why I would
question the sudden appearance of a new user (or a new nym), with a new sig
file attached to a post quoting a news article that seemingly has nothing to
do with the topic under discussion. Hmm.

I'll put it down to an unfortunate coincidence. Perhaps Duncan himself
lifted it from the same site as you. I'd like to visit it myself.

But if you'd like to clear up for me just how your quoted story about
suicidal sheep related to cuhulin's post about London, and how your sig file
related to any of the above, I'd be grateful.

best sadly mistaken and at worst somewhat delusional
and perhaps unable to apply constructive and intellectual
postgraduate level debate or discourse.

Any time you'd like to engage in said debate or discourse, consider me to be
at your service...Manboobs.
