Buy the service manual. Internally, the ts 2000 has a similar
switching circuit for 6m and HF but adds a relay for HF. You should
know what to do when you see the circuit. A lot will depend on what
the amp needs.

According to the manual I read on line, the TS2000 has separate

linear
control and ALC input connections for HF and 6M. The HF control is

a
relay and the 6M control is an Open Collector circuit.

Anyone have experience or suggestions on how best to interface this

with
an Amplifier that covers HF and 6M with only one control line and

ALC
output. The control voltage and current are within the limits of

the
transceiver.

Would it make sense to just connect the two control lines in

parallel?
Not knowing the internal circuitry I am not sure what isolation

might be
needed for the ALC lines.

FWIW I went to the Kenwood site and tried the Contact Us link - it

went
nowhere. Is there an email address to try this question on

Kenwood?
