Hello. I am planning on an extra long road trip through Wyoming and
Montana (among other states, but those I have cell service in allegedly)
with only the dogs for company. I'm trying to convince some
overprotective people (that I love) that it can be done solo.
I don't have a cb, but am considering getting one for the journey.
Does anyone know if there are listeners out there in case of a car
breakdown, etc? It would help ease their mind.

Channel 19 is widely used by truckers. They will gladly stop to help a
damsel in distress. If you're getting off the beaten path, there are
better choices in addition to your CB.
